Hello! My name is Doo-seong Kim. I work in the MR-B Team.
Please explain your current job responsibilities and duties.
As a medical representative (MR) of the ETC division in the Seoul branch, I am in charge of providing medical staff with specialized knowledge and information on pharmaceuticals produced by Yuyu Pharma through sales planning and sales management for my assigned region, and achieving the target goals and results.
What area did you focus most on when preparing yourself for a job here?
I prepared mainly two things. First of all, to understand the company, I grasped the business reports, and the current status and future direction of the pharmaceutical industry. At that time, reading “I Love Yuyu”, I was able to understand the future direction of the company is pursuing and the type of people they wanted to attract. In addition, in order to improve my understanding of the job I was going to apply for, I searched for relevant materials and conducted interviews with the holder of the position.
How is the working atmosphere of Yuyu Pharma?
The ETC sales department I belong to seems to have a high degree of intimacy between seniors and juniors. When a problem arises during work, we work together to find a solution and try to act like 'we are one'. When there is a department-level meeting, it's nothing special, but we express our opinions freely. We work in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
What is the most satisfying aspect of Yuyu Pharma?
I think it's a work-life balance. Above all, the summer vacation period is the most satisfying aspect. Employees can take any time off from April to September. They are also highly satisfied with the extensive period because they can plan their vacation and take their desired days off.
How is the image of Yuyu Pharm different before and after joining the company?
Before joining the company, I was curious about what the driving force that maintains and develops the company since its foundation in 1941 is. After joining the company, I felt Yuyu Pharma is like a solid diamond with a clear goal of improving the “quality of life” of the people.
