Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

Hello! My name is Sunah Lee working at Jecheon Factory Production Team.

Please tell us about the daily routine of the production team.

The production team has a very large workplace, so when we come to work, we gather together to check attendance. We start the day with a simple stretch to prevent musculoskeletal diseases. As a number of people is assigned to a specific workstation at the production line according to the established production plan the day before the work, they start working at their assigned workstation immediately after stretching. In the event of a change in work, a simple transfer of work is performed between workers. We have 10-minute rest breaks in the morning and afternoon, and we have time to recharge our physical strength while talking with our co-workers in the common room or drinking tea. The production team is cooperative in all aspects because there are many jobs done by several people, and when the work is done, all the team members clean up the work area together, and the day ends with a work report.

What is your secret of long service?

After graduating from my high school, I joined the company. It was my first job. Even then, I felt that it was a good company. Since I became interested in my job, I always thought that I wanted to work here for a long time. In my mid-twenties, I felt bad about not being able to go to college, so I took evening degree programs. Even after that, there was a big thing in my life, conceiving and giving birth to two children, but I challenged myself with confidence that I could do it. With the encouragement and help of my colleagues, I was able to do everything satisfactorily. It was a valuable opportunity to feel that being able to stay in the company for a long time is not only because of my will, but also because of the positive atmosphere of the company and the environment that sincerely cares for employees. Also as the company first recognizes the way we work hard and do our best in a rapidly changing field, it became a driving force for me to work harder and to have love for the company for a long time.

What is the pride of Yuyu Pharma's Jecheon Factory?

First of all, factory facilities and equipment are up-to-date and automated, and work processes are systematic, so the company can adapt itself to changes quickly. Through the introduction of the work-learning parallel system, online GMP learning, on-site training and theoretical training are also provided to improve work competencies. The company holds meetings, has the 'postal service' and various channels for communication to listen to employees' grievances and solve them as much as possible. There are also amenities and sports facilities for employees, such as a cafeteria, a cafe, a gym, a lounge, a foot volleyball court and massage chairs. Because there are so many things that we can do together, we can get along naturally. In recent years, there is an increase in recruitment of women with career interruptions. There are also clubs and activities that employees can join freely as well as volunteering activities of employees that have been steadily continued since the relocation of the factory to Jecheon. It is a factory with an autonomous atmosphere and bright energy, which is the strength of the company.
